Following are the different activities held in the school from Feb.2014 to April 2014.
** Celebrating our GOLDEN JUBLIEE of our School, a grand ANNUAL DAY was held on 28th Jan 2014 with the theme of “FESTIVALS” under the caption 'GLORIOUS 50 FETE 1964-2014’ at Vanita Vishram 0pen Air Theatre. The theme is the Brainchild of our Principal Madam in which the festivals celebrated in different parts of our country was portrayed by our students with the guidance of our teachers.
***** A staff meeting was conducted on 28/02/14 in the Sai hall. It was attended by our Trust Vice President Shri.Ashvinbhai Mehta & Trustee Shri.Jagdishbhai Tekrawala . Teachers were praised for the success of the grand annual function and some valuable suggestions were given for effective teaching and to maintain physically fit was also emphasized by them.
****** An exhibition of the different projects done in all the subjects by the students from Std. I to VIII in Sai hall on 25/02/14 & 26/02/14. It was visited & very much appreciated by our parents too.
****** A health awareness & fitness programme was organized to keep teachers physically & mentally fit from 11/04/14 to 28/04/14. It was conducted by Mr.Vimal Patel for aerobics, Mr.Amit patel for yoga & meditation; teachers were given follow up of the same by Mr.Bharat Patel.
***** A follow up session of ADAPT SOLUTION was conducted by Mrs.Anusuya Adhikari on 22/04/14. Along with that a training session from Macmillan by her was given to teachers on how to use the SPRING BOOK more effectively. It was very interesting as in a play way method the lessons to be handled so that students don’t get bored.
***** Computer training for teachers on HOW TO DOWNLOAD VIDEO from YOU TUBE was given by the computer staff so that teachers can download the videos for their subjects and make their teaching more interesting.******* Guidance sessions in English grammar was given from 16/04/14 to 29/04/14 to some of the teachers by Mrs. Dharmistha Joshi.
****The last working day of the year 2013-14 came with surprise for all of us. Our Trustees organized a ‘THANKS GIVING CEREMONY’ for teachers and all the other staff. It was a rare occasion in the life of teachers.It became even more overwhelming when it was presided by
–The District Education Officer of Surat, Shri Rathod Saheb. His motivating speech filled the teachers with new enthusiasm and vigour.
